This mexican restaurant's food is absolutely amazing! I love coming here and trying new dishes each time. I usually order takeout but if you do decide to dine in, they will accommodate you with some delicious chips and salsa! My go to is the red wet burrito which I highly recommend and the serving size is courteous!! This is the photo of the Torta cubana which was also absolutely delicious! They always make the food pretty quick and take their time making sure to satisfy their customers! The service is usually pretty great and ambiance is just like a typical Mexican spot but they have some TVs hung up incase for those who want to watch a certain game or show. I will definitely be back. Thanks for being great!

It was my first time there. Tasty food, good service, low prices. If I lived closer I would go often.

So I stopped by here since I was doing maintenance for my car, and happy to say this place did not disappoint. I was here during breakfast time and decided to get their huevos rancheros. They were so flavorful and very decently priced as well. My breakfast came with some chips and salsa and tortillas on the side, which a choice of either corn or flour. The service was excellent as well, all the staff were super nice and actually helped me pick between the different breakfast items they had. Food also came out really quick, I probably wasn't waiting for more than 5 minutes for my order to come out. Overall I was really happy with my visit. Even though they're a little far from where I live, I'll make it a point to come back and try their other dishes as well.

the food was real good and set up beautiful first time and definitely not our last .

This is amazing small place where you can find an amazing food like mom cocking in Mexico is family business the owners are very friendly the menudo pozole and tamales are so good love it

I like this place. Had Pozole the first time I went there and loved it. Burrito the 2nd time, which was pretty good, nothing special but definitely better than some of the other places around the area. Staff was friendly, good location, clean.

Went here on Sunday night for dinner! Fresh chips and salsa, enchilada plate was awesome! Wife got cactus plate! This place serves great homemade food with great prices! Worth checking out!

For me the Menudo was delicious But it doesn't come with grano. You must ask for hominy. My partner ordered pozole, she said the broth was too thick. I agree, it was delicious but to thick. It was a busy Sunday morning so, service was a bit off. But I would comeback and try the rest of the menu. Nestled in a small shopping center in Burbank.

Wow...Tucked in a small, strip mall next to Vons, we found this gem or a restaurant. I always see it when I park when I go to Vons or the Dollar Store, but never stopped in to try it. I realized I have been wasting time and money on other Mexican restaurants... El Ruby is great on all levels. Great Service. Great Value. Menu with many offerings. Free chips and salsa! Pictures are one thing but the taste is phenomenal! I got the carnitas wet burrito and my wife got the taco platter. With a side of radish, deep fried jalapeños and lemon wedges...You couldn't ask for anything more! Even beer for $3.99 a bottle! If there is anything about my visit that I was not fond of was the taste of the refried beans. Maybe it was just me, but they didn't taste like traditional beans cooked in lard. They reminded me of vegetarian beans. Not to say that it is a bad thing, just not my cup of tea. Ambiance 9/10 Service 10/10 Food 9/10 Bathrooms 8/10 Cleanliness 9/10 Value 10/10 Will I Return? Si, Si
